WHO WE SERVE

Housing instability is a universal problem – it affects men and women, adults and children, families and singles. The problem may be universal, but the solutions are not. What is effective for a single adult, may not work for a family with children.

Housing instability is a universal problem – it affects men and women, adults and children, families and singles. The problem may be universal, but the solutions are not. What is effective for a single adult, may not work for a family with children. To effectively serve everyone we come into contact with, Rescue Mission has tailored our programs and residences to meet the specific needs of the populations we serve. Rescue Mission currently runs specialized programs designed for Families & Children.

Who we serve

Rescue Mission was founded in 2000 as an organization dedicated to ending family homelessness. Since then, we have grown to serve many other demographic groups - but helping homeless families remains at the core of the organization.
Children represent more than 15% of the homeless population in Bechem. Nationwide, 1.1 million children experience homelessness each year. Rescue Mission provides safe places for children to live, and programs to help them thrive.
